| The
TPHS Cricket Team was founded during the 2007-2008 school year
by Praneet Mylavarapu. Its purpose is to spread awarness of the sport
of
cricket along with the cultures of those that play it. The team has
organized
over 30 games within the school and a few in the community since its
inception
and currently consists of over 40 members. TPHS Cricket Team aims to
expand
beyond Torrey Pines High School and introduce Cricket as a sport to the
local
community, incorporating other regional high schools, in the coming
years. For
