At the beginning there were two regions, Muspellhiem, one of fire, guarded
by the fiercest of all giants, emanating such intense heat that it scorched
and shrivelled everything that came within millions of miles.
The other, Niflheim, a region of ice and snow, controlled by the most powerful
of all elements, water. A mighty fountain of all waters, a roaring cauldron did
lie in its centre. This a baron land of such chill that only the heartiest
of creatures did survive.
Aeons and aeons passed, the ice and snow continuously expanding, freezing
everything in its path, until it met the region of fire. Irresistible force
meets Immovable object. A gargantuan explosion of biblical proportions did occur,
so powerful that it created life, a huge giant rose from the steam
roaring
into life
in his hand an axe
his skin a deep purple from theintensity of
the heat that still poured through his body, his mind however
ice
cold
calculating.
Olaf was born
..
.Millennia later
The longboat travelled quietly through the mist, at an incredible pace, oars moving
in and out the water without sound, in perfect unison, the 12 men on board almost
coagulated together into one solid organism.
Theyd conquered before, and theyll conquer again, spawned from the most
powerful of beings in turn, created from the most powerful of elementsthey were born
to defeat. Arriving on the shores each man stepped off
power and pace personified
each bearing the axe
each holding the telltale
purple scarring of their ancestor
They are
Sons of Olaf
